Nuvaring contains a combination of estrogen and a synthetic form of progestin desogestrel. Unlike other birth control methods on the market, Nuva ring delivers a constant flow of these hormones to a woman’s body throughout the entire month. Unfortunately, the combination of these hormones has been linked to causing serious side effects including death.
Nuvaring birth control has been on the market since 2001, and has caused numerous unnecessary injuries and deaths. I might not have had these symptoms, but i was on the Nuva Ring for 5 or so months and i started to hurt to even take the ring in or out. I was put on the ring for my ovarian cysts but now looking at this recall I hope it hasn;t made permanent damage in my re4productive systom so make sure u take the hurting into consideration and follow up with a doctor appt.
