Bayer had been marketing these contraceptive drugs as the treatments for acne, pms, and pmdd. The FDA has only approved the uses of the Yaz for the very mild cases of the acne along with the PMDD.
The irresponsible marketing campaigns had led to these current campaigns of TV ads in which the company Bayer had to correct their previous statements about the Yaz usefulness along with the side effects of this drug. Their new advertising campaigns cost Bayer over $20,000,000. Ultimately, the false advertising along with their shady marketing plans had led to the harmfulness, if not their fatal side effects along with the serious health issues for so many different women that have been using Yaz for as their contraceptive or different purposes.
