Actavis Totowa announced a nationwide Digitek recall due to manufacturing defects which caused the Digoxin tablets to have double the normal amount of dosage causing serious side effects. There is a large risk that the Digoxin overdose can lead to fatal illnesses. The illness is known as Digitalis Toxicity and is common among those with renal failure.
